    • Shortlisted - National Housing Awards 2019

    9 July 2019

We are delighted to announce that Abbey Wharf in Alperton has been shortlisted in the National Housing Awards Best Partnership category.

Inland Homes is working in partnership with Clarion Housing Group to deliver this innovative affordable homes development in Alperton.

When finished Abbey Wharf will deliver 136 new homes. Of these 111 will be offered as shared ownership homes, aimed at buyers who are currently locked out of the housing market, with the remainder rest as affordable rent.

The site falls within the wider Alperton Growth Area where at least 1,600 new homes as well as new amenities are designated for development along the canal. As a pivotal project to come forward within this zone, it is leading the way as a catalyst for the area’s ongoing regeneration.

Currently 20% of the workforce on site is from Brent. Inland Homes is also encouraging opportunities for apprentices on site and the commercial units within the development will provide future employment space. The site was recently rated 44/50 in the Considerate Constructors report, against the criteria of ‘Care About Appearance’, ‘Respect the Community’, ‘Protect the Environment’, ‘Secure Everyone’s Safety’ and ‘Value Their Workforce’.

The development is on schedule for completion in 2020.
